The West Perrine Community Redevelopment Agency celebrated the opening of the Hibiscus Grove pre-leasing office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 9948 W. Hibiscus Street.
The ceremony marked a milestone for a project this community has watched rise for more than a year. The CRA broke ground on the site in July 2025, and today the building stands nine stories over West Hibiscus Street, wrapped in floral murals that have become a landmark on the corner.
New Homes for West Perrine
Hibiscus Grove is an affordable and workforce housing mixed use development. The development contains 30 rental units for households with incomes at 30 percent of area median income (“AMI”) and below, 195 rental units for households with incomes at 60 percent of AMI and below, and 45 rental units for households with incomes at 80 percent of AMI and below.
Now Leasing
Leasing opened officially on Thursday, October 1, 2026. Prospective residents can visit the leasing office in front of the building at 9947 West Hibiscus Street, Miami, FL 33157.
